Announcing Therap Java Fest!

Therap (BD) Ltd. is hosting an online Java Festival for students of public and private universities, all over the country! We are looking to bring out the talent in the field of programming and interest them to explore the world of possibilities that java opens up for them.

The festival will comprise of various activities designed to develop and assess the development skills of the participants.
All programming activities will be carried out through a web application that will be solely launched for the festival. A group of programmers from Therap will assist the participants with feedback/answers to participants’ questions through a forum, throughout the contest.

Interested participants will at first register individually and take a preliminary screening test designed to evaluate their basic programming skills. The selected participants will then form a group of two members for developing either a java web application or an android-based project. Each group will initially submit a project proposal and then will implement the project idea. After evaluating the projects, top ranked participants will be invited for a live presentation of their projects. Prizes will be awarded to the top three projects and the festival will be concluded with the prize giving ceremony on 3rd November, 2012.

Terms and Conditions:

1.Participants must be Bangladeshi Citizens.
2.Participants must be enrolled in undergraduate university programs within any of the following disciplines – CSE/CSC/ECE/EEE/IT/ICT.
3.Only one entry per person, participants sending multiple entries will be disqualified.
4.Prizes may not be redeemed for cash.
5.The decision of Therap's judges is final and conclusive in all circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into.
